  International Dance Day            International dance day is a global celebration of dance, created by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute,the main partner of the performing Arts of UNESCO. The event takes place every year on 29 April which is the anniversary of the birth of Jean -Georges Noverre (1727-1810),the creator of modern Ballet. Theme of international dance day 2022 wishes :""  Everybody should dance to express themselves....... ""  International dance day is a celebration of all types of dance, and was created to recognise how the act of dancing can break cultural barriers. The day was founded with the intention of bringing people of all backgrounds together through dance to encourage inclusivity and ease political,ethnic,and cultural tensions.

WORLD EARTH DAY  Earth day is an annual event on April 22nd to demonstrate support for Environmental protection. First held on April 22nd First held on April 22nd 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by Earth Day.  The theme for Earth Day 2022 is " INVEST IN OUR PLANET"  The day aims to spread awareness about issues, including pollution, deforestation and global warming. That's why each year on April 22, more than a billion people celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from pinks like pollution and deforestation. By taking part in activities like  picking up litter and planting trees, we're making our world a happier, healthier place to live.

 VISHU CELEBRATION Today (08-04-2022) we have celebrated VISHU in our college ( Sree Narayana Guru kripa BEd College, pothencode ).Principal Dr. Salini maam light on the function. Different programs were also conducted, which increased the glory of the function.  Vishu is the festival celebrated in Kerala from the region of Sthanu Ravi since 844 AD, Vishu is believed to mark the day when Krishna killed the demon Narakasura. Hence, Krishna idols are kept in the Vishu Kani. Hindus considered Vishnu as the God of time and so on this festival, Vishnu and his incarnation Krishna are worshipped.  Vishu is the first day of the Malayalam calendar and is the colour of a New year in Kerala and the ad joining areas of Southern India. This day is celebrated with much ceremonial Splendor among all family members, relative and friends and marked by feasting and burning of firecrackers.  WORLD HEALTH DAY  The World Health Organisation (WHO) convened the first  World Health Assembly in 1948, which called for the establishment of a  " World Health Day"  The first World Health Day was held on April 7, 1950, and it has been observed on that date every year thereafter.  The theme of World Health Day 2022 is " OUR PLANET, OUR HEALTH ". According to the WHO, over 13 million deaths that occur worldwide are due to avoidable environmental causes. It also notes that climate change is one of the reasons behind a serious health crisis.
