 Independence Day                    India celebrates  Independence Day on August 15 each year. India became and independent Nation on August 15,1947,  So a gazetted holiday is held annually to remember this date.

 

INTRODUCTION               The term TAXONOMY is derived from TWO Greek words - TAXIS,which means "ORDER "/ "ARRANGEMENT " and NOMOS which means "LAW " / "SCIENCE ". : The branch of science concerned with classification.    Benjamin Bloom developed the Bloom's taxonomy during the 1940, s along with his collaborators Max Englehart, Edward Furst, Walter Hill and David Krathwohl. Their objective was to place educational goals into specific categories. They believed that classifying goals like this would be beneficial to access college students performances better. Since then, Bloom and his colleagues revised and refined the frame work several times before publishing the final revision in 1956. It was published as the "TAXONOMY OF EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES".  WORLD POPULATION DAY  The United Nations development program took the initiative to start this day in 1989.  The idea is to make people aware of global population issues.  On 11 July 1987, the world population came up to 5 Billion.  The government aims to educate people about family planning, maternal health, and human rights. This is to move towards  sustainable development.  The theme for 2020 was: " women's and girls' needs for sexual and reproductive health and vulnerabilities during the pandemic ".

 INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY  2021  The international day of yoga aims to rise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.  The first international day of yoga was observed around the world on June 21, 2015. PM Modi, during his speech at the UNGA, Said, " Yoga is an invaluable gift of India ancient tradition ".  This year the theme is " YOGA FOR WELLNESS" and for the practicing yoga for physical and mental well being.

 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2021  World Environment Day is the United Nation day for encouraging world wide awareness and action to protect our environment and is observed on June 5.  The theme of this year's World Environment Day is "ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION ".  Pakistan will be the Global host for the day.  Sweden will host World Environment Day on 5 June 2022 in partnership with the United Nations environment program ( UNEP).  The theme : " ONLY ONE EARTH".......    will highlight the possibilities of shifting to more sustainable, greener lifestyle.  World Environment Day is an annual UN International Day.

 MOTHER'S DAY 2021  Mother's day celebrates Motherhood and the contribution of mothers in society. The holiday is celebrated worldwide as an international day. On 9th Sunday,May 2021.  Mother's day is a celebration the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of the March or May. It compliments similar celebrations, largely post by commercial interests, honouring family members such as father's day siblings day and grandparent's day.
